Are you familiar with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs? This is a FREE poster to keep the IDEAS fresh and clear.

What are they?

Are you familiar with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs?

It's a list, developed by psychologist Abraham Maslow, and is a theory that categorizes human needs into a five-tier model, often depicted as hierarchical levels within a pyramid - where the bottom is the root level base need - and each "LEVEL UP" is possible with the level before - being met. So, based on his theory, individuals must satisfy lower level basic needs before progressing on to meet higher level growth.

Physiological Needs
• These are biological requirements for human survival. Things like - air, food, drink, shelter, clothing, warmth, sleep.
> Ensure the basic needs are met.

Safety Needs
• Once an individual’s physiological needs are satisfied, the needs for security and safety become salient. These include personal security, employment, resources, health, and property.
> Create a secure & stable environment.

Love and Belongingness Needs
• After physiological and safety needs are fulfilled, the third level of human needs is social and involves feelings of belongingness.
> Promote collaboration and community.

Esteem Needs
• This level includes esteem for oneself (dignity, achievement, mastery, independence) and the desire for reputation or respect from others (status, prestige).
> Recognize and celebrate achievements.

Self-Actualization Needs
• This is the highest level of Maslow’s hierarchy and refers to the realization of a person’s potential, self-fulfillment, seeking personal growth, and peak experiences. Maslow describes this level as the desire to accomplish everything that one can, to become the most that one can be.
> Encourage personal growth and fulfillment.

The '>' are the steps we can take on behalf of ourselves and others. Those are the things I seek to do in the AI Lab, and how I try to engage my fellow human beings - daily. I create this poster today. Image in Midjourney, edited in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Express.
