Coloring Moods: A Guide to Emotional Storytelling with GenAI • Purple

Recently, an idea came to me—revisiting some of the guides and resources I’ve developed and expanding them to be even more useful for Creative Professionals engaging with GenAI. One concept I explored a while back involved combining colors with the suffix ‘-core’ (like purplecore), to highlight how each color brings with it unique emotional undertones that can be leveraged for greater impact in both your prompts and rendered results.

Now, I’m expanding on that idea in a much more comprehensive way. In this series, I’ll be tackling each color individually, delving into the emotional resonance and storytelling power of colors through the lens of multiple AI platforms. Drawing on my background in branding and color theory, this series will not only explore how color influences mood and narrative but also provide insights tailored specifically for Creative Pros working with generative AI.
