This one was just plain and simple 'fun'... crafting a NEW smartscreen that looks like a transparent modern remake of the Nintendo Gameboy. Retro-gaming combined with modern iPhone built with gen-AI and Adobe Photoshop. I love this. Not only is the 'how I did it' instructions included, I also added the JPG for you to use the one I crafted on your phone also. If you use it - share a picture of yourself with this on your phone - I would LOVE to see it!
Creativity is fun. Design is problem solving - and while I did not have a problem with my past phone lockscreen - it was impersonal. A picture of a houseplant I had not managed to kill this year... but still - just a neat photo, nothing 'to write home about'. But this - this is kind of cool. I grew up with Nintendo, Sega and before that - arcades in the 80s. This retro vibe is just perfect for me to spice up the phone and make it "MINE" and reflective of me.
